This is an album that I can play again…jazzing up the audiophile and music mood. It is so well played and recorded that anyone can find enjoyment here… The following is taken from the Nasotec VEM Clamp review, “Next, I play on the same turntable, Joe Henderson “Our Thing” (Blue Note ST-84152/ Music Matters MMBST-84152). Again, the effect of with and …
I think most audiophile agree that this is one all times great album…a must in any decent audiophile collection. I must say that the recording is awesome,…enveloping, engaging and energetic…with details all around…360 degree! The following is from the review of Nasotec VEM Clamp, “Here, I have the VEM clamp on the spindle of the Sperling L-1 turntable (with Sperling …
The following excerpt is from the Nasotec VEM Clamp review, “On a lighter mood, I dig out to play one of my ol’time favorite anime soundtrack, Genesis Climber Mospeada (Victor JBX-25029…where in the USA, it is under the Robotechseries). The title song, “In Search Of Lost Dreams (…lonely soldier boy)” where I find the vocalist, Andy Koyama‘s voice tends to lose …
This Soundtrack has been my test CD since I heard it first at the movie. When the hero returned from the oblivion/dead…the track “Portals” was both emotional and powerful, with the big drums waving the low low frequencies… “If pushed further, playing Alan Silvestri “AVENGERS ENDGAME” Soundtrack (Hollywood Records MARVEL CD 0003093702) proved to me that the Expresso could maintain the atmosphere, …
I have been a fan of the manga and anime series of City Hunter like ever since. I found their latest movie, City Hunter Private Eyes (2019) to be quite refreshing with a soundtrack of their most memorable songs and music…mostly of Jazz and Ballad genres. The recording here is to be expected of Japan’s standard and quality. A MUST …
Last year (2019), I heard wind that the Thai Diva Ms.Oopiib Pacharamon will be releasing her new album, “OOPIIB SINGS IMPRESSION 2”…I got really excited! Why excited?! Not that I understand Thai language…or know her! Well, my answer is ‘her voice’ that is alluring, sensuous and ‘joyful’. I also find her singing to be ‘happy’ and ‘wide-open’…and her songs are …
The Fifth & Fifthteenth (DSFS-001CD feverSound.com) Recently, I bumped into an old audiophile friend that was well known here, Joseph Ki at the listening session of Andrew Lee’s audio set up (for ‘Open Door’ at analoguefellowship.com). He slipped a CD to me and it’s titled,”The Fifth & Fifthteenth” (a compilation) which was produced and sound engineered by Kent Poon. I …
Lyn Stanley’s “London Calling-A Toast To Julie London”. Only but a few years ago I remember hearing about a beautiful and talented lady who has just released an album of her singing and accompanied by some serious musicians. At the time, I said to myself I would not mind having another (beautiful and talented) female audiophile record in my collection. …
I found this CD from GRP Digital most entertaining at my recent listening session at Wong’s. The tempo got me moving my feet and the music shaking my head. The musics here were as per the title suggested…BIG BANG! My cup of tea!
A gift from a fellow member of Analogue Fellowship from Seremban sparked an audio performance that was “pleasantly surprising” from my audio system with the Kronos Analogue Solution and the usual suspects of audio gear. I strongly recommend this record from Three Blind Mice Japan…keep living
