I remembered that beautiful sound,…some would call it the “Golden Sound” (as its chassis’ color suggests?) since way back in 1993, then I was a law student at University of North London (UK), visiting fellow audiophile living in London. This particular unit that remained in my keep was sold to me by an old seasoned audiophile friend, whom was famously known as uncle Lum (Lum Suk). The reason he sold it to me because he upgraded to the monoblock version, the CJ Premier 12. He used them to drive his B&W 802 loudspeaker,…and resulted in one memorable, sweet and musical presentation from any audio system…thank you, uncle Lum.
