I have only started streaming music from SPOTIFY and TIDAL since the arrival of the ZIDOO NEO 4K Digital Media player and later, the HIFI ROSE RS150B Server/ Streamer into my main audio system but a few years ago. Initially, I treated such Digital Medias/ Platforms (SPOTIFY and TIDAL) as mere convenience,…especially to try out new music. Therefore, I did not give my best to those Digital Sources (ZIDOO and HIFI ROSE),…just make do. Therefore, they were connected to the internet via WiFi. That was the case until more products came in for review, and more discoveries of fine music materials,…
that I started to treat them with more respect.
I was truly impressed with the result in sound quality from TiGLON (JAPAN) latest Flagship TPL-3000A WHITE TIGER Exclusive AC Power Cord (retail Ringgit Malaysia RM13,000) plugged into the HIFI ROSE RS150B (reviewed). Since then, I have a place in my audiophile heart for products from TiGLON,…and that remained the case after my favorable review of their TPL-2000SP Flagship speaker cable (retail Ringgit Malaysia RM10,130 per 2.5m pair),…and for the Digital Medias/ Platforms.

Then BEGINS ACOUSTIC (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD‘s Ms.Kenix Chua asked me if I could possibly change the internet connection from WiFi to LAN (Local Area Network) at my HIFI ROSE RS150B, in order to review their TiGLON AZURE DRAGON MS-DR20L-AD LAN/ ETHERNET cable (retail Ringgit Malaysia RM1,782 for 1 meter). I investigated the possibility, and found that I could only ‘connect‘ the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN from the TP-LINK DECO AX-1800 (MESH WiFi) to the HIFI ROSE RS150B. An audiophile friend told me that such ‘connection‘ would not provide any audible improvement in sound quality since the ‘connection‘ was still natively, WiFi.
I remembered that I did try that ‘connection‘ with other LAN cable but the result was not an enough improvement over via WiFi…
(if so, then I was prepared to inform Ms.Kenix Chua that I was unable to review the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable?).

Oddly, after I have connected that TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable in that ‘connection‘, I was surprised with the audible result,…so much so,…I called up that audiophile friend, and Ms.Kenix Chua to share my initial impression of it.
Ms.Kenix Chua did not sound surprise at all and calmly replied that I should be able to hear the difference contributed by the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable…
since my audio system and audio den were Treated thus Quiet.
She explained that the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable was not the typical ‘Run of the Mill’ LAN cable (which resulted in my previous experience, as above). She continued that TiGLON used the “Phantom Conductor” DF-OFC (Differential-Flex Oxygen-Free Copper), its cable structure was based on their Top-of-the-Line model “TPL-2000L Professional” (CAT7), that featured the “D-REN Outer Sheath” (an anti-vibration technology similar to the company’s D-REN Pro accessories to suppress micro-vibrations and external noise), and the “Magnetic ZERO Process” (part of TiGLON‘s World-Patented Magnesium Shield technology to eliminate magnetic interference and unwanted resonances),…”Symbolic of the AZURE DRAGON Series”.

TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable also utilised the LAN connectors made by the highly reliable, German Telegärtner. According to her, TiGLON employed their newly developed “H.S.E Pro Treatment” (a burn-in process that refines the Conductor’s Crystal Structure) on the LAN cable, in “pursuit of unprecedented high speed and wide bandwidth sound field expression“,…”from pure audio to professional device, their next generation LAN cable is here to deliver a faithful and super-fast signal transmission in every scene“.

NOT THE TYPICAL RUN OF THE MILL LAN CABLE.
I believed that my initial impression of the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable was more than just a pleasant surprise,…initially, I was told that that LAN cable would not provide any audible improvement in sound quality since the ‘connection‘ was still natively, WiFi and,…therefore I was prepared to return it.
The TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable in the ‘connection‘ alone, brought down the noise floor to a whole New Low level,…
thus the Background behind each Image, Vocal and Note was utterly BLACK!
All elements in the music seemed to be…
Clearer, better Defined, Delineated and Stationed.

Here, I was exposed to the track, “Faraway Sea” by Ms.Ryu Miho (Japanese Jazz Singer and Composer), which was included in the recent Singapore HiFi Show 2025 Complimentary CD, and available to stream from TIDAL (where the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable came into play).
Through the use of TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable, I found the Image of the songtress was more Stable, Solid, Dense and,…
Smack On the Centre(!) of the Soundstage.
Here, her “soothing whisper voice” (eventhough soft) was presented with Clarity, thus showcased…
the Layers, Dimensions and Depths in her Vocalisation.

Another Japanese songtress that I found interesting was Ms.Reo Na whom vocalisation has a “unique blend of strength and vulnerability, often described as dark or sorrowful, which she used to convey deep emotions in her songs“. At her track, “Niji no Kanata ni” (Over the Rainbow), the use of TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable allowed me to hear more distinctly into her vocalisation and appreciate the…
differing Weight (/ Burden) of Emotion, and Breathing poured into the words/ lyrics.
Its worthy to note that the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable was able to…
deliver the (Scary!) ‘Dead Silence‘ in-between…
the word/ lyric, and the same in-between the note from the instrument/ piano in that recording. I would add that the ‘Dead Silence‘ showcased the Dimensions of the Recording Venue,…
through the Audible Reverbs from the vocalisation and instrumentation.

Here, the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable’s ‘Dead Silence‘ (or low noise floor) delivered the obvious distinction between the instruments, the violin (played by Gil Shaham) and the guitar (played by Göran Söllscher). I could even appreciate the…
difference in Dimensions, Presence and Weight…
of each instrument,…
the Bandwith of each Note…
from each instrument, and
the Distance…
between the instruments at the recording venue.
Therefore, I was able to relax and enjoy the partnership of two very talented musicians with very…
different Stringeth instruments at different Notes and Parts of the same music,…as intended.

In an orchestra presentation, the violin maybe the smaller instrument but when played correctly, it maybe the most influencial one there. Here, the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable contributed to the presentation of the lead violinist,…
Ms.Julia Fischer‘s performance to Stay Ahead and Unperturb by the entire orchestra’s Sound, Dynamics, Expressive and Powerful character.
Here, each note by the lead violinist was eloquently presented and the same could be said for the entire orchestra…
nothing was amissed.

UNEXPECTED AND UNDERESTIMATED NECESSITY.
The TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable was definitely not the ‘Run of the Mill’ LAN cable and delivered and contributed an unexpected level of Low Noise/ Blackness to the Background behind each Image, Vocal and Note that allowed one to…
appreciate the Intricacies of Music Streaming.
In addition, the asking price of the TiGLON AZURE DRAGON LAN cable was definitely not unreasonable with all the…
(World-Patented) Technologies, Materials and Workmanship involved…
and,…
its Price-to-Performance Ratio was definitely HEALTHY for a WHOLEHEARTED RECOMMENDATION!
