This was probably where the contribution of THE64 became fascinating.
Switching it out didn’t suddenly make the music โhave no bassโ. The ๐๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ก๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐๐ certainly did not suddenly become bass-shy.
Instead, it felt as though ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฒ๐๐ซ ๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐.
The dimensionality reduced, the sense of space became slightly flatter.
Bring the infrasonic foundation back and that ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฒ๐๐ซ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ โ without making the presentation bass-heavy.
The low frequencies remained ๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐๐, ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ, supporting the vocal and the rest of the spectrum rather than interfering with them.
With complex passages, the presentation remained organized, separated and intelligible rather than congested. There was plenty minute info and texture, yet it didn’t feel etched or exaggerated.
Most importantly, the music remained ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐.
