I have known Mr.Vattana Prasertnasung of TOMBO AUDIO (THAILAND) for some years (if I m not mistaken,…more than a decade already). Throughout those years that I have known him, he was always hard at work playing with his audio setup and tweaks,…thus the nickname (audio) ‘Play Boy‘ (also due to his ‘easy going’ and ‘jokeful’ mannerism). His ‘work and play’ resulted in many tuning devices/ products under TOMBO AUDIO that I found to be effective in my own audio setup (if I remembered correctly, I was one of the earliest customer of his in MALAYSIA). Therefore when he messaged me about the product/ tuning device that represented the
culmination of all his Lifelong Knowledge and Experience,
…I was all ears readied to receive and review it.
He described and explained to me that the TOMBO AUDIO Hexa Pendulum footer was a High-End Audio Accessory designed to ‘dissipate mechanical vibrations and to neutralize component feedback. It utilized a multi-layer swing mechanism that featured an internal pendulum which moved in the opposite direction of the vibration in order to cancel out inertial forces, thus supposedly
resulted in a more stable, clear, and distortion-free Sound Stage’.
The Hexa Pendulum footer (retail at US$2,800 for a set of four [4x] pieces) was of ‘Hexa‘gonal design that functioned both as an aesthetic stabilizer and as an omni-directional acoustic reflector.
It was designed primarily for Amplifiers, Speakers, Hi-Fi Components and Audio Rack…
to drastically reduce micro-distortions in a High-End Audio setups and system.

SETTING UP THE FRUIT OF A LIFELONG WORK.
I received the set of four [4] Hexa Pendulum footers at around the same time I received the ASCENDO Dual 18″ Subwoofers and the 64″ Infrasonic Subwoofer. Therefore, my ever-eager audiophile heart was pulled at two [2] directions. Then, I have both the AUDIO VISUAL DESIGNS team who were responsible for the installation and calibration of the ASCENDO subwoofers, the 64″ infrasonic subwoofer and the four [4] pieces of Dual 18″ subwoofers, at work in my Audio Den, and TOMBO AUDIO‘s Mr.Vattana Prasertnasung enquiry of my initial impression of his Hexa Pendulum footers (don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the audio busyness).
Without further ado, I set the Hexa Pendulum footers directly under the affixed footers of the PIONEER UDP-LX500 Universal Ultra HD Blu ray player which was connected to the PILIUM ARES preamplifier, LINN KLIMAX SOLO amplifier and JBL L100 CLASSIC 75 ANNIVERSARY EDITION speakers via SKOGRAND CABLES. I played a familiar track, Ms.Ryu Miho‘s ‘Endless Sea‘ from the SINGAPORE HIFI SHOW 2025 GIFT CD (presented to me by Mr.TK Han of REFERENCE AUDIO SINGAPORE).
Immediately, I was struck with a sound quality that was never of the PIONEER UDP-LX500,…the transparency of that audio system showcased…
a kind of ‘High End‘ Sound Quality that could only be contributed by the Hexa Pendulum footers.
After I have listened to a few more tracks from that CD, I messaged Mr.Vattana Prasertnasung to inform him that his ‘Lifelong Work’ (the Hexa Pendulum footers) brought about an impressive sound quality;
Control, Expansive, Detail and good Bass Articulation,…even from an inexpensive Pioneer Universal player.
However that was not to be the end of the review, the Hexa Pendulum footers were meant to be a High End Audio Accessory for High End Audio Component (but they already provened to me their contribution under a mediocre universal player). Therefore I decided to set them under an Ultra End Audio Component, the most exclusive FM ACOUSTICS 268C Flagship preamplifier which then connected to the VITUS AUDIO MASTERPIECE MP-M201AF mono amplifiers, the GRYPHON AUDIO KODO loudspeakers system and via SKOGRAND CABLES. Alternate digital sources used were the HIFI ROSE RS150B (Server and Streamer), the VITUS AUDIO MASTERPIECE MP-T201 (CD Transport), the VITUS AUDIO MASTERPIECE MP-D201 Digital to Analogue Converter, and the ARIES CERAT KASSANDRA Limited Edition DAC.
The Hexa Pendulum footers, though not an electronic component and have no electronic contribution to the electronic signal whatsoever, yet under the FM ACOUSTICS 268C preamplifier, they contributed to a new level of clarity to the entire frequency bandwidth.
I was hearing a Cleaner High, Mid and Low,…with Clearer Delineation and Outline of Tonality.
Here, at the track ‘Deja Vu‘, I found the main saxophonist, Mr.Archie Shepp whom was famed for being aggressive and prominent in his play, was presented with all its intended Articulated Glory, Energy, Power, Dynamism, Outline and Delineation,…
as if his Artistry was presented in a ‘Well-Lit‘ Soundstage.
Having said the above, I too found the other instruments in that soundstage, were given the same treatment,…in other words, the aural sensation was as if being…
invited to a ‘Closer and Better Seat‘ at the musical presentation/ event.
The composer Mr.Daniel Pemberton delivered one of the best soundtrack (for me) that encompassed not just the epicness that the movie ‘Masters of the Universe‘ (2026) demanded but also rock and pop,…with Queen guitarist Mr.Brian May.
Here, at the track ‘Eternia‘ and with the addition of the Hexa Pendulum, I found the aural presentation of…
the whole Soundscape to be of the intended ‘Epic Proportion‘,
with every element of the music being articulately presented (nothing was drown in by the sheer scale/ power/ dynamism of the presentation).
Even Mr. May‘s thunderous guitar riffs (with his iconic “Red Special” guitar) was highlighted amidst the sweeping cinematic melodies.
