PURPOSE BEING,…
I was given my first exposure and experience to WYWIRES DIAMOND Series AES digital cable (retail Ringgit Malaysia RM7650 for standard 4′ length) when I took delivery of the INNUOS ZENITH NG Server and Streamer (/Digital Tansport that required an external Digital to Analog Converter/ DAC) for review. PURPOSE BEING,…that that INNUOS ZENITH NG was fitted with the optional AES and S/PDIF digital output module (for connection to an external DAC), and that AV DESIGNS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD wished that its review be inclusive of the said AES digital cable (for best sound quality in that combination). After a brief listening to that combination (INNUOS ZENITH NG with WYWIRES DIAMOND AES digital cable), I decided that a separate review was warranted for the WYWIRES DIAMOND AES digital cable.
The listening session and review of the INNUOS ZENITH NG was done entirely through its ‘normal‘ USB output (that unit was not install with the optional INNUOS PHOENIX USB output module) connected with the AA AUDIO SIGnature eXTreme USB 2.0 by Dr.Anwar Ali Muhamad,…similarly in the case of the review of the INNUOS STATEMENT NG (where it was fitted with the INNUOS PHOENIX USB digital output module as standard,…therefore it was not an ‘apple to apple’ comparison).
Therefore the following could be considered a ‘continuation to the review‘ of the INNUOS ZENITH NG with the use of the optional AES and S/PDIF digital output module, and the WYWIRES DIAMOND AES digital cable.

WYWIRES was a small American cable company started by Mr.Alex Sventitsky in 2010 at Los Angeles.

As I have indicated above, the WYWIRES DIAMOND AES digital cable was connected between the INNUOS ZENITH NG (as a Streamer for mostly Tidal) and the VITUS AUDIO MASTERPIECE MP-D201 DAC throughout the review. The following discoveries were the reasons I believed that a separate and independant review be made for the said AES digital cable.
