The first installation of the TriangleArt Master Reference at my listening den late last year, met with some challenges.At that time, we found that there was speed instability. The turntable was not able to maintain the desired speed of 33.3rpm and 45rpm. We suspected that the cause maybe the bearing. Possibly damaged during transportation from a number of venues here in Malaysia. In addition, the limited time and tools available did not permit a thorough investigation. Therefore, Tom promised that he would return. That he did with the previous Master Reference turntable and the same bearing. This time around, we plugged the turntable power supply to a dedicated voltage regulator at a different point at my Shunyata distributor. I am happy to report that the same TriangleArt Master Reference turntable is able maintain the desired speed of 33.3rpm and 45rpm with ease and accuracy.
